Has anyone else read Deuteronomy in it’s entirety? Did you tear up with Moses’ death?
I could feel the overwhelming and abundant love that God had for Moses.
Even if you have read Deuteronomy, I highly recommend reading it again and again. And if you haven’t, we’ll then, it’s a must read. Deuteronomy is a great summarization of God’s commanding law and expectations. He even speaks of Israel’s abandonment, thus God’s abandonment on Israel. But the promise of when you return to him, he will restore your fortunes.
Reading the Bible has been such a blessing and divinely uplifting experience, especially during these stressful times. It has become my daily routine. I thirst for it and I want to eat it all up at once. It has become so much a part of me that I feel I’m becoming more fulfilled spiritually. My ‘hope’ which had been disappearing is now returning and it’s because of the Bible and all of God’s promises that has restored my faith. 💗
